Tigers win pair of matches in Pierre

PIERRE — The Huron boys’ tennis team picked up wins against Lennox and Rapid City Christian on Thursday.

The Tigers got past Lennox 6-3 and defeated Rapid City Christian 7-2.

“We were able to pick up two good dual wins today,” Huron coach Tim Hedblom said. “Lay Kpaw Wah had a great day going 2-0 in singles and teamed up with Hay Klu Moo Taw to go 2-0 at flight 3 doubles. Roger Puterbaugh and Moo Sher Say both went 2-0 in singles and teamed up to go 2-0 at flight 2 doubles.”
