HURON — Todd Allen Eilertson, 59, of Huron, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls.

A  celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Todd was born Feb. 23, 1964, to Verlyn and Joy (Grabin) Eilertson in Huron. Todd graduated from Huron High School in 1983.

He married Layne Seng on June 11, 1983, and they celebrated 40 years together this year. Todd enjoyed the outdoors, working on his jeep, yearly camping and fishing trips to the Black Hills with his children and grandchildren and pheasant and deer hunting with his father.

He loved playing the coin pusher at the fair, going as far as playing while tornado sirens sounded. He went by “PaPa” and loved being active in their lives.

He is survived by his wife, Layne Eilertson of Huron; his three daughters, Jordyn (Jermar) of New Mexico, Apryl (Chad) Barth of Huron and Carsyn Eilertson of Huron; bonus children, Ann (Joel) Seidel and Roxy (Jayme) Stienblock; his mother, Joy Eilertson of Huron; brothers, Rocky (Cindy) Eilertson of Cedar Park, Texas and Troy (Karen) of Rapid City; and 12 grandchildren, Lyric, Rhythm, Symphony, Motley, Alyxx, Emersyn, Harpyr, Ollyver, Donnica, Livvy, Nataley and Collyn; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Verlyn; aunt and uncles, Iona and Willy Yost and Don Eilertson; and inlaws, Jack and Barb Seng.
