Evolution FC, (in the red uniform), from Minnesota, claimed first place and $10,000 in winnings for the boys’ championship game at the Paw Say Soccer Tournament on Sunday evening. East Coast United from New York earned second place and received a $5,000 award, after a hard fought game that went into overtime and eventually to the penalties round, where Evolution FC took the title with a 3-2 win. Dakota United, a Huron team, took first place in the girls’ championship game with a 1-0 win, taking home a $2,000 award in a game against a St. Paul, Minn., team called Karen Nation, which claimed $1,000 in prize money for second place.
