HURON — Here are a few — but certainly not all — of the community Halloween events taking place in and around Huron today.
• “Trick-or-Treat Street” from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Huron High School.
• Trick-or-Treaters are invited to collect goodies today from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 2660 Dakota Ave. S.
Trunk-or-Treat, too

There are a handful of “Trunk-or-Treat” events scheduled for this evening as well.
• A Trunk-or-Treat sponsored by the Center for Independence and other community partners is planned from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at the Family Education Center, located at 1644 Lincoln Ave. S.W.
In the event of bad weather, the event will be moved to the Huron Middle School gymnasium.
• A Trunk-or-Treat is planned from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at Assembly of God Church, 920 Lincoln Ave. S.W.
Everyone is invited to these safety-first community events.
