Understanding depression later in life topic at PAH support group

HURON — Attendees at the September meeting of the Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) support group will learn more about depression at 4 p.m. on Tuesday in the HRMC Dakota-Heartland room, located in the lower level of Huron Regional Medical Center’s Central Tower.
Cindy Thomas, a registered nurse who works in HRMC’s cardiac rehabilitation department, will present information to help attendees better understand depression later in life.
The public is invited to attend.
The Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) support group provides support and education for patients who suffer from high blood pressure of the lungs.
The group typically meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m., in the Dakota-Heartland room on the lower level of the HRMC Central Tower. For more information about the support group or therapy available for PAH, call 353-6531.
