Vandean Stave, 90, of Huron

HURON — Vandean Stave, 90, of Huron, passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 at the Huron Regional Medical Center.  Her memorial service will be held in Spring 2020.
Burial was held at the Webster City Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family of Vandean Stave, 1360 Dakota Ave. S., Huron, S.D. 57350. They will purchase pet food for the local animal shelter.
Vandean Esther Loessin was born on April 20, 1929, to Otto and Mary (Eichler) Loessin at Hammer. She was baptized and confirmed at the Zion Lutheran Church at Claire City. On Nov. 24, 1949, she married Jacob Stave. She worked at Bales for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob on Nov. 6, 1983; five brothers, Alberts, Alfred, Merle, John, and Harold Loessin. and four sisters, Clara Vig, Alice Kramer, Mildred Laing and Luella Larsen.
She is survived by her family, Don and Peggy Larsen of Beresford, Robert Borgan of Huron and his mother, Sharon Carlson of Oak Harbor, Washington; and many nieces and nephews.
