SIOUX FALLS — Venus Apollo Nordtvedt, daughter of Rachel Christianson and Matthew Nordtvedt, was born February 19, 2020. She passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020.
Her favorite things to do were to stand up, eat, watch TV, play with her toys, and most of all get snuggles.
Mom and Dad were proud of how strong and smart she was. Since birth she held her head up, she always tried to hold her bottles, and she was able to roll tummy to back at 3 weeks and back to tummy at 2 months and 3 weeks.
Everyone that met her was wrapped around her finger. They always commented how mellow she was and how she was almost always happy and always smiled.
Grateful for having shared her brief life are her parents, Matthew Nordtvedt and Rachel Christianson; her grandparents, Andrea Christianson, Brian and Shelly Nordtvedt, and Dawn Mandel.
Venus was preceded in death by her great-grandma, Karen George; great-great-grandmother, Annie Hall; and great-grandfather, Robert Christianson.
