WOLSEY — The Wolsey-Wessington Lady Warbirds won their third straight match Tuesday night, dominating the Mitchell Christian Golden Eagles 3-0 in volleyball action. Set scores for the Lady Warbirds were 25-17, 25-17 and 25-19.
Lizzi Brandt led a balanced attack for W-W with 13 kills andf our aces. Chantel Haider filled the stat sheet with seven kills, four aces, seven digs, a pair of assists and one block. Raquel Nelson had three aces and seven kills, while Cortney Sprecher added six kills and three blocks. Shayla Muilenburg handed out 31 assists on the night.
Anna Cooper and Maggie Reynen each had six kills for the Golden Eagles, who dropped their eighth match in a row and fall to 2-8 on the season. Erica Thompson had 11 assists and Sarah Morris led the defense with 10 digs.
Wolsey-Wessington, now 3-1 on the season, will travel to Aberdeen Christian tonight.

Oldham/Ramona-Rutland 3, Iroquois 1
IROQUOIS — The Oldham/Ramona-Rutland Raiders broke into the win column for the first time Tuesday evening, outlasting the Iroquois Lady Chiefs 3-1 in volleyball action.
Set scores for ORR were 23-25, 25-12, 27-25 and 25-17.  The Raiders go to 1-8 on the season.
Kylie Anderson had 13 kills and four aces to pace the Raider attack. Both Rylie Aschmeller and Avery Hyland had four aces as well, and Aschmeller also led the defense with seven digs. Chloe Taman had 26 set assists in the match.
Iroquois was led by Hannah Hofenke  with seven kills.
The Lady Chiefs, winless at 0-10, will look to right the ship Tuesday in Hitchcock.

Potter County 3, Highmore-Harrold 1

HIGHMORE — The Potter County Lady Battlers dropped the first set, but came back to win the next three to down the Highmore-Harrold Pirates 3-1 in non-conference volleyball action Tuesday night. Set scores for the Lady Bs were 23-25, 25-9, 25-23 and 25-12.
Jenna Robbennolt notched 16 kills and had three solo block kills to pace the Potter County attack. Kirstie Lake had three aces and Kaya Sauter chipped in two while Autumn Wieseler had a match-high 39 assists to help the Lady Battlers improve to 4-5.
Madison Bollweg had five kills and a block for the Pirates, who fall to 5-4 with the loss. Halle Tvedt had six assists and an ace, while Taylor Chavez had two aces and 16 digs, Kassie Hale led all defenders with 20 digs on the night.
Highmore-Harrold is at Hitchcock-Tulare tonight in a 281 Conference matchup.
