WOLSEY — The Wolsey-Wessington Lady Warbirds stretched their winning streak to four, with a 3-0 victory against the Lake Preston Divers on Monday night.
Set scores for the Warbirds, now 13-9 were 25-23, 25-18 and 25-22. The Divers’ season record evens out at 13-13.
Raquel Nelson led the Warbirds with two aces, 12 kills and 11 digs, while Taylor Sprecher was 14 of 16 with two aces, two kills and two blocks. Lizzi Brandt had five aces and 21 digs for the Warbirds; Shayla Muilenburg hit two kills and was 96 of 96 with 16 assists, and Kailen Krause made 26 digs.
The Divers’ Lindsay Hillestad had nine kills and two aces, while Sasha Andrews had four aces and six kills. Setting was Olivia Christensen with 15 assists and Lexie Larsen with 5 assists. Meriah Flegel made 20 digs, and Rylie Brown had two blocks.
The Wolsey-Wessington Lady Warbirds will travel to take on the Faulkton Area Trojans tonight for the last match of the regular season.
