HURON — This year’s Independence Day will be one to remember for Huron golfer Dan Wehde.

Wehde used a seven iron to ace the 152-yard No. 12 hole at Broadland Creek Golf Course July 4.

The feat was witnessed by Wayne Gauer, Denise and Nathan Gauer, along with Karen Wehde.
