WESSINGTON — A full day of fun-filled events is planned in Wessington on Saturday, July 15, during the Wessington Fun Days.
Beginning with breakfast by the American Legion, and including a car show, kids games, fun at the swimming pool, a flea market, the popular gelatin-eating contest, the hilarious bale-rolling contest, pie-baking and chili-making contests and wrapping up with a street dance with the Blackwater Band.

“We are always excited for Wessington Fun Days!” said Lana Dannenbring Eichstadt of the Wessington Economic Development Corporation. “There are various activities for all ages. Our parade will honor Korean veterans this year with a theme of Hooray for the USA! We are especially happy to welcome the Black Water Band for a street dance from 8 p.m. to midnight.”
