Wessington Springs sweeps Tripp-Delmont/Armour

WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Wessington Springs boosted its record to 7-2 with a sweep against Tripp-Delmont/Armour on Monday night.
The Lady Spartans won the match with set scores of 25-12, 25-19 and 25-18.
Avery Orth led Wessington Springs with 11 kills on 18 of 22 attacks and had seven blocks. Carissa Scheel converted on 17 of 20 attacks for nine kills and had a pair of blocks.
Raylee Fagerhaug was 17 of 18 serving with four aces for the Lady Spartans, while Scheel was perfect on 10 serves with two aces.
Alyssa Grohs amassed 30 assists on 80 of 80 sets for Wessington Springs. Hannah Heezen and Grohs each had 10 digs.
Megan Reimer paced Tripp-Delmont/Armour with nine kills, 16 digs and an ace. Mia Reimer had two kills, two aces and a block.
Kinley Spaans recorded 13 assists and had a block for the Nighthawks, who are now 2-5. Ryenn Loneman had 14 digs.
Wessington Springs will host Lower Brule on Thursday.
