PORTLAND, Ore. — William ‘Bill’ Mitchell, 73, of Portland, Oregon, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020, in Portland, Oregon.
Bill was born on April 17, 1947, in Sioux City, Iowa.
Bill grew up in Huron, and was a 1965 graduate of Huron High School.
Bill is survived by his wife, Cheryl; daughter, Brie; son-in-law, Billy; and two grandchildren, Tate and Zoey, whom he adored; his sister, MaryAnne; and his brother, Pete.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Esther; and brother, Tom.
Bill was a life long chef and asked that any remembrances be made to World Central Kitchen (WCK.org) in support of the amazing work they do to feed people affected by natural disasters like COVID-19.
