TULARE — The Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots, ranked third in Class B volleyball circles, pushed their season record to 12-0 with a 3-0 win over the Aberdeen Christian Knights Tuesday night in non-conference volleyball.

The Lady Patriots claimed the match with set scores of 25-16, 25-15 and 25-20.

Katelyn Schroeder had 11 kills, one ace and 19 digs to pace the H-T attack, while Lila Johnson handed out 19 assists and teammate Gracyn Bixler had 13 assists. Ella Johnson had three aces in the game.

For Aberdeen Christian, Arianna Johnson had five kills and an ace and Jolie Fogarty added five kills.

Alexis Isakson led the defense with 13 digs, as the Knights fell to 5-3 with the loss.

The Lady Patriots host Highmore-Harrold on Thursday, in Hitchcock.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Wessington Springs 0

WOONSOCKET - The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Blackhawks swept the Wessington Springs Lady Spartans 25-15, 25-17, and 25-13 in 281 Conference regular season action in Woonsocket Tuesday.

The Blackhawks move to 7-5 behind 10 kills apiece for Liz Boschee and Kaylie Robinson. Robinson led the team with 18 digs and Kali Hofer topped SCW with 16 assists.

Alexa Goertz had a strong overall game for the Blackhawks, with a pair of aces, three blocks, and 14 digs.

Remie Roduner topped Springs (4-3) with 22 digs. Mariah Messmer had three assists, three kills, and two aces for the Lady Spartans.

The Lady Spartans travel to Crow Creek Thursday. The Blackhawks will host Oldham/Ramona-Rutland Saturday at Sanborn Central.

Mount Vernon/Plankinton 3, Redfield 0
REDFIELD — The Mount Vernon/Plankinton Titans improved to 9-2 on the season, with a 3-0 shutout of the Redfield Pheasants Tuesday night in non-conference volleyball action.

Reagan Rus notched 23 kills and four aces to lead the Titans, who got 32 assists and 10 digs from Alyssa Johnson.

Kinley Smith led Redfield with five kills, while Kendyl Siebrect had two aces. Hayden Gall had 12 assists for the the Pheasants, and Brooklyn Rische led the defense with 10 digs.

Redfield, now 3-8, is on the road Thursday, taking on Britton-Hecla in Britton.
