HURON — The Busy Fingers CFEL Club met Monday, May 9, in Alpena at the Red Hog for supper. Members enjoyed talking about their summer plans.

The State CFEL Convention will be in Watertown in Sept. 23-24. “Bountiful Harvest” will be the theme for the convention. Members will take their Cultural Arts Exhibits to be judged.

Members are encouraged to keep track of their Volunteer Hours, and Reading Reports. These need to be submitted to the state officers, to receive credit.

Coborns receipts will be turned in also. The club does not meet in the summer months, so they can spend time with family, friends and grandchildren’s activities. They will resume meeting in September.
