HURON — Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is hosting its 16th annual Cutest Baby contest during March and April, according to Mati Felderman, director of marketing and communications.

“We’re excited to continue this fun, long-standing tradition,” said Felderman. “This contest provides a lighthearted way to celebrate the excitement of spring and all of the precious little ones we’ve welcomed at the HRMC Birthing Center.”

During the month of March, parents and grandparents are encouraged to enter the contest by submitting a photo of their baby online. The nominee must live in HRMC’s seven-county service area and be under the age of 12 months as of March 1, 2024. Therefore, the baby must have been born between March 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024.

Beginning in April, the contest will feature live voting, with one vote per person accepted every 24 hours. “Supporters are encouraged to vote once daily,” explained Felderman. “Promoting your baby’s entry in the contest to family and friends will help keep the votes coming in throughout the month.”

The entry with the most votes will win the grand prize package which includes a Hatch Baby Sleep Machine, $75 in Huron Bucks, a gift basket of baby essentials, a commemorative blanket, and a feature photo on HRMC Cutest Baby advertising and promotional materials for the following year. The entry with the second most votes will receive $50 in Huron Bucks.

Entries must be received by 12:00 p.m. CST on March 31, 2024 to be eligible. Voting opens on at 12:00 a.m. on April 1. To learn more and enter, visit www.huronregional.org/cutest-baby-contest.
