HRMC Foundation to host football watch party for men's health

HURON — The HRMC Foundation will host a college football playoff watch party, beginning at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Big D’s in Huron. Gather to watch both the SDSU Jackrabbit and USD Coyote teams battle separate opponents to advance to the third round of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) playoffs.

All are invited to join in the fun with food and drink specials during the games. A raffle to support men’s health in the community will feature a game-worn USD football jersey and an SDSU football autographed by Tucker Kraft, tight end for the Green Bay Packers and former SDSU standout.

Blood pressure and BMI screenings will also be available during half-time in addition to other men’s health education. All male attendees will receive a coupon for a free health screening to be redeemed at HRMC and will include cholesterol and glucose screenings as well as a PSA screening for men over 50.

A Best Beard Contest will also be held for those who have participated in No Shave November to recognize and celebrate men’s health awareness.

Event details are available at hrmcfoundation.org/special-events or by calling the Foundation at 605-353-6319.
