WOLSEY — A night filled with prizes, snacks and laughter is on tap Friday, Feb. 16, when the Onward Wolsey group hosts a Valentine’s Weekend Comedy Show fundraiser, at the Wolsey Fire Hall.
Midwest Emmy award winner David Harris will headline the three-person night of entertainment. Harris can be seen on YouTube as part of the Dry Bar Comedy Specials and performs throughout the U.S.
He will be joined by Ben Marcotte, a frequent comedy festival participant, and Malory Manderfield is the opening act . Manderfield was chosen the winner of the Funniest Person in the Twin Cities contest.
The night is a fundraising effort by Onward Wolsey, with money earmarked for the Wolsey Swimming Pool. The evening begins with a social hour at 7 p.m. and there is a 50/50 drawing to benefit the Wolsey Ambulance service.
