HURON — Huron Realtors volunteered to ring bells on Dec. 1 for the Salvation Army, raising almost $600 at Coborns and $208 at Fair City Foods.
At the Realtors annual meeting, they were able to raise $1,580, which was used to buy socks, undergarments, coats, stocking caps and gloves.
All of the clothing items, along with items collected through the Realtor for Kids socks and undergarments drive to the Salvation Army at 10 a.m. Friday. There, the group will help organize clothing packages for each family. Anyone who would like to help volunteer is invited to attend.
