HURON – A large area of Huron was affected by a power outage Thursday afternoon when a fuse blew on a transformer while a NorthWestern Energy line crew was working to complete upgrades on a city substation, a company spokesman said.
Tom Glanzer said about 3,000 customers in the west and central sections of Huron were affected. Power was off from about 1:15 p.m. to shortly after 2 p.m.
