Redfield-Doland defeats Clark-Willow Lake to close regular season

CLARK — Both teams had two players reach double figures to fight for the win, as the Redfield-Doland Pheasants came out on top, with a 61-54 victory over the Clark-Willow Lake Cyclones, on Thursday night in girls’ basketball action.
Redfield-Doland ended the first quarter of the game down 15-11 to Clark-Willow Lake, but the Pheasants edged out the Cyclones at each stop of the game following that.
Addison Rozell led the Pheasants with a game-high 29 points, while Hannah Kuehm added 13.
Redfield-Doland improved it’s season record to 11-9 with the win.

The Cyclones, who are now 9-11 on the season, were led by Janae Kolden with 25 points. Taylor Hartley tallied 14 points.
Both teams open postseason play today. Redfield-Doland will host the Sisseton Redmen at 7 p.m. in Redfield. Clark-Willow Lake will face the Florence-Henry Falcons in  Warner.
