Special Education

Huron High School
Life Skills/Employability is a Special Education class of 10 senior students. They are working on all the different aspects of applying for a job and what life looks like after high school graduation. The students are learning and practicing writing cover letters and resumes. They are also learning how to have a job interview over the phone and answer a variety of job interview questions.

The students are very excited about finishing high school, they have been learning about how to make a budget and purchase their needs rather than their wants. Its interesting to listen to the students talking about all the different possibilities for after graduation.

Madison 2-3 Center
There are many fun things happening at Madison 2-3 Center! Right now, the third-grade students are partaking in state testing, while the second-gradestudents are making encouraging signs to cheer them on.

Also, with what looks like nicer weather coming our way (fingers crossed), teachers are looking to bring some academics outside with activities like math with chalk and individual reading time under the trees! Now is a great time tospringinto a good book!

GO TIGERS!
