PIERRE — The Huron middle school basketball teams faced Pierre on Monday.
Eighth grade
The Tigers won the C-game 35-21 to account for their lone win.
Greyson Watson and Daniel Shee each had eight points for Huron, while Charleston Wachter had five points.
Pierre won the A-game 49-13.
Deklan Harrington had seven points for the Tigers. Laken Van Zee, Austin Htoo and Oliver Steele each had two points.
The Governors emerged with a 41-27 win in the B-game.
Steele had 10 points, while Noah Carr had nine points and Greysen Gregerson had six points.
Seventh grade
Pierre earned a 31-25 victory in the A-game.
Oakley Korkow and Austin Soward each had eight points for the Tigers, while Max Bartholow had seven points.
The Governors claimed a 36-10 win in the B-game.
Dah Si had seven points for Huron, while Jaxson Tounsley added three points.
Pierre defeated the Tigers 30-22 in the C-game.
Clayton Mattke had nine points to lead Huron, while Kellan Tarasoff-Ball had six points.
The Huron teams play at Watertown on Thursday.
