HURON — On Saturday Huron Middle School students Nick Freeman, Mason Davis, and Noah Beck competed in the Corn Palace Regional Spelling Bee in Mitchell.
They competed in a group of 18 students from regional middle schools in a bee that lasted 14 rounds. Beck placed third and Davis placed second behind Sam Pardy from O’Gorman, whose champion word was “susceptible.”
