To the Editor:
Remember when candidate Donald Trump, in reference to his supporters’ loyalty stated, “I could shoot a person on Fifth Avenue and not lose one vote.”? The roar of the audience response caused me to realize this guy has a significant number of ‘True Believers.’
“Senator John McCain isn’t a war hero for being shot down over North Vietnam. A true hero would not be captured, but would escape and return to fight again,” Mr. Trump said. “With two broken legs and a broken arm, McCain’s mobility may have been a bit limited. It’s particularly galling the critique is from the mouth of someone who avoided the conflict because of bone spurs, the infirmity of choice for the rich and privileged.
Owning the Miss USA, Miss Universe and Miss Teen USA pageants, Donald Trump felt entitled to enter dressing rooms while contestants were changing during the competition! He even bragged about his action during a radio interview with Howard Stern. Our president enjoys fondling women’s privates because, “the rich and famous can get away with it.”
