YANKTON — The Yankton Gazelles got the bounces when they needed them Tuesday night, posting a 3-1 upset over the Huron Tigers in ESD volleyball action.
Huron falls to 6-5 with the loss, while Yankton broke a three-game losing streak and goes to 3-6 with the win. Set scores were 25-19, 19-25, 25-15 and 27-25 for the Gazelles.
Hollee Niehus cranked out 24 kills on the night and added 12 defensive digs. Jayda Shillingstad handed out 30 set assists on the night, while Havyn Heinz had 34 digs and served up four aces.
