ST. LAWRENCE — David Stanley Lanz, 92, of St. Lawrence, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Society in Miller. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. prayer service today, Feb, 16, at the First Presbyterian Church in Miller.

MILLER — Peggy (Forbus) Hargens, 73, of Miller, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, at Good Samaritan Society in Miller, surrounded by her family. Her memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 23, at the Community Church of St. Lawrence.

HURON — Martha M. Schmeichel, 93, of Huron, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord Jesus at Avantara Huron on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, with her son by her side. At her request, no public service will be held.

MELLETTE — Gerald “Jerry” Kent Zerbel, 78, of Mellette, went home to heaven on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield, with a prayer service at 5 p.m.
