IROQUOIS William Bill Lynch, 77, of Iroquois, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, surrounded by family. Born July 27, 1948, in Huron, Bill was a longtime school business official, serving Hot Springs School District and later the Associated School Boards of SD. He is survived by his former wife Mary; sons Brian (Zoe), Jeffrey (Maggie), and Douglas (Elizabeth); eight grandchildren; sister Rita Hunt; brother James Lynch; and many beloved friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 27, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in De Smet, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in De Smet. Burial at St. Pauls Catholic Cemetery in Iroquois.
