HURON — Brookings had four goals in each of the first two periods en route to an 11-0 victory against the Huron All-Stars on Saturday at Bergman Arena.
Carson Kludt and Jack Lovseth each had a pair of goals for the Rangers.
Also scoring for Brookings were Mauer Bartley, Nolan Krogman, Talon Hyde, Jackson Heller, Cade Zweber, Jay Harris and Cooper Schneider.
Mason Diers and Kludt each had three assists for the Rangers, while Bartley and Hyde each had a pair of assists. Zweber, Krogman, Harris, Parker Nielsen, Cannon Friedrich, Ethan Foerster and Maxten Jensen each had an assist.
Ryder Anderson stopped all nine shots he faced in the net to earn the shutout for Brookings.
Huron golie Kaleb Rashaad finished with 55 saves.
The All-Stars, who are 2-14-1, host Sioux Center at 8 p.m. Saturday at Bergman Arena.

In a matchup between the top two teams in the standings, top-ranked Brookings recorded a 7-1 victory against No. 2 ranked Huron on Saturday at Bergman Arena.
Cooper Schneider had a hat trick with three goals to lead the Rangers, who improved to 13-2-1. Also scoring goals were Ethan Foerster, Ty Harris, Connor Buckley and Maxten Jensen.
Foerster and Jensen each had a pair of assists for Brookings. Cody Jacobson and Mavrick Bortnem each had an assist.
Oaklee Schnabel had the lone goal for Huron on an unassisted shot in the second period after the Rangers scored the first five goals of the game.
Matthew Bothe earned the win in the net for Brookings, with 17 saves.
Huron goalie Jace Gerber had 28 saves.
