Brian married Cindy (Wharton) on April 21, 1979, in Huron, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church. They had just recently celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary.

Throughout his cherished life, Brian took on many different roles. Growing up on a dairy farm, he worked hard and contributed any way he could. Brian’s happiest moments were often with Cindy at his side. Whether it was a fishing rod in hand, in a hunting blind at sunrise, or gathered around a campfire with family and friends, he enjoyed many different hobbies. The countless camping trips, hunting adventures, and days spent on the water created memories that will live on for generations. He devoted a lot of his time to his community, neighbors and friends.
