HURON With a pair of wins on Friday, the Huron boys tennis team has won four straight matches, with them all coming at Huron Courts.
The Tigers recorded an 8-1 victory against Vermillion and a 9-0 victory against Madison on Friday.
We had a solid day of tennis today, Huron coach Tim Hedblom said. The boys played with energy and confidence.
The lone setback on the day for the Tigers came via a tiebreaker in No. 3 singles against Vermillion.
Huron should some solid play in both singles and doubles, according to Hedblom.
Matthew (Thin), Say Poe and Maner (Htoo) each earned good singles wins today and I felt our doubles play today was very good, he said. We need to continue to improve each time we take the court.
The Tigers will face Pierre and Spearfish on Tuesday in Pierre.
