Huron Regional Medical Center staff and other volunteers offered youth on their bicycles a day of safety and skills Thursday at the Bike Rodeo in the Physicians Clinic parking lot.
Youth received a donated helmet that was fitted to them, could get stickers and other decals to adorn their bike or helmet, had a chance for a bite to eat, had an expert crew to adjust pedals, seats, tire levels, and ensure all bolts were tight, and then were able to attempt multiple safety and skill courses around the parking lot, including ones to practice stopping and navigate through a figure eight.
