HURON The Girls 14U State Hockey Tournament begins today and runs through Sunday at Bergman Arena.
In the opening game of the event, third-seeded Watertown will play No. 6 Brookings at 1 p.m. Oahe is the second-seed and will face No. 7 Huron at 3 p.m. Fourth-seeded Sioux Center plays No. 5 Rushmore at 5 p.m., and top-seeded Sioux Falls plays No. 8 Mitchell at 7 p.m.
The consolation semifinals are slated for 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday, with the semifinals to follow at 5 and 7 p.m.
The seventh-place game is scheduled for 8 a.m. Sunday, followed by the consolation title game at 10 a.m. The third-place game begins at 12:30 p.m., with the championship game to follow at 3 p.m.
