To the editor:
What a loss to our community happened Wednesday. Gene Chapman passed away!
Sheron will be lost without her soulmate, but what a blessing for Gene. He struggled, was in pain, and now rests in peace with his Lord & Savior.
Karen and I shared many memories with Gene and Sheron about past experiences.
Gene was a hard worker and shared his talents with many Huron residents. His generosity was given to many people and organizations in Huron.
Karen and I are better people because of Gene Chapman. He will certainly be missed.
Flags should be put at half staff in his honor. He never sought recognition for himaelf, but believe me, everyone in Huron knew him.
