HURON — Butch Knouse, 64, of Huron, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls.
His funeral service will be on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Welter Funeral Home in Huron.
Visitation, with the family present will be from 5 p.m., until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at a later date at Maplewood Cemetery in Iroquois.
LaVerne Robert Knouse was born on November 15, 1955, to Robert E. and Crisilda M. (Clarke) Knouse.
Grateful to have shared in his life are his children, Joshua (Christie Malcolm) Knouse, Laura (Jimmy) Allen, and Jade (Scott) Bell, all of Huron; seven grandchildren, Adilynn Bell, Wyatt Bell, Kayleen Malcolm, Aubree Bell, Dallas Bell, Lily Ann Knouse, and Jasper Knouse; and one sister, Ginger Martinez of Rapid City.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law, Tim Martinez; nephew, Gary Keelin, Jr.; and niece, Sherrie Keelin.
