ONAKA — Carl Hagenlock, 95, of Onaka, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Faulkton Senior Living.
His celebration of life was held yesterday at Luce Funeral Home in Faulkton.
Carl N. Hagenlock was born November 6, 1922, near Malcom, Iowa to Waldemar “Walt” and Della (Grimm) Hagenlock. In 1924, the family moved near Seneca.
He was united in marriage to Jeane Wilkinson January 10, 1946. In 1958, they bought the family farm and in 1990, he and
his grandson formed H & N Farm. He had also worked for the A.S.C.S., served on the Seneca school board and the board of directors for FEM Electric.
He is survived by his daughter, Billie Jo (Dave) Nelson of Faulkton; grandson, Ryan (Jennifer) Nelson of Onaka; two great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ellen Cogswell of Joaquin, Texas; brothers, Lester of Bozeman, Mont., and Roger (Bonnie) of Pierre.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeane; daughter, Bonnie (stillborn); and brothers, Edwin, Louis, Glen, and Delmar.
Luce Funeral Home of Faulkton has been entrusted with Carl’s arrangements.
