GRESHAM, Ore. — Carol Dawn Rich, 78, of Gresham, Oregon, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018.
A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, September 29, at Savage Memorial Presbyterian Church in Portland.
Carol Dawn Rich was born July 11, 1940, in Lexington, Ill.to Paul and Clara (Haner) Thomas. She moved to and resided in Huron for fifteen years.
She retired from WB Wells in Portland. She was an avid reader, who also enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William Rich; her children, Evelyn Downey, Edward Downey, Paulette Hall, William Rich Jr. and Fay Rich; siblings, Thomas Thomas, Carolyn “Carrie” Truchon, and Mary Thomas Bagby; along with 28 grand-and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Rich; grandson, Tom Downey; and brothers, William Thomas, and Paul Thomas.
