REDFIELD — Delvin Robert Sheridan, 69, of Redfield, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at his home.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield. Burial is to follow in the Ashton Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield. Family will be present during this time to celebrate his life.
Delvin Robert Sheridan was born June 27, 1949, to Robert and Daisy (DeYoung) Sheridan. As the last graduating class, he completed his schooling at Brentford High School in 1967.
He was united in marriage to Barbara Geuke June 22, 1974.
The couple purchased the family farm in 1977, which began his lifelong career in agriculture and livestock. Later in his career he sold purebred angus bulls until retiring in 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Barb; daughters,Tonya (Darren) O’Daniel, Jessica Sheridan (Jamie Williamson), and Kayla (Eric) Understock; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; sister, Alta (James) Smith; and sister-in-law, Shirley Sheridan.
He was preceded in death by his grandson Triten Heber, his parents Robert and Daisy Sheridan, brother Russell Sheridan, and special uncle Laurence Sheridan.
