The District 4 Make it With Wool was held in Brookings on Sept. 16. Winners were, front row, from left, Lauren Hansen, Brookings, tied first Pre-teen category; Raesa Zelinsky, Brookings, tied first, Pre-teen; Paige Foster, Brookings, third, Pre-Teen; Ovivia Hadrick, Faulkton, second, Pre-teen; Annika Kwale, Sioux Falls, fourth, Pre-teen; and Reese Hadrick, Faulkton, first, in Made for Others division by Wanda Blair; and in back, Ann Hansen, Brookings, first, Professional category; Charlotte Kwale, Lemmon, first, Adult division; Dianne Perry, Bancroft, District 4 Director; and Sidney McCord, White Lake, first, Junior category.
All first-place winners advanced to the state Make it With Wool contest in Brookings on Sept. 30. At that contest, Ann Hansen placed first; Charlotte Kwale placed first; Raesa Zelinsky placed first; and Lauren Hansen and Sidney McCord each placed second in their respective categories.
