WINNER — Dorothy Hazuka, 93, of Winner, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019, at the Sunquest Healthcare Center in Huron.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 22, at the United Methodist Church in Winner. Burial will follow in the Winner City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, January 21, at the Mason Funeral Home in Winner with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m.
Dorothy (Hollenbeck) Hazuka was born November 29, 1925, Arnold, Neb. to Harry and Helen Hollenbeck. She (Dottie) graduated from Winner High School in 1944. She was united in marriage to Roy Hazuka February 15, 1947. They lived and worked on the family farm in Tripp County until retiring and moving to Winner in 1995.
She is survived by her son, Roger (Ann) Hazuka of Huron; daughter, Diane Millsagle of Rapid City; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Berniece Kindt of Oacoma, and Elna Black of Belle Fourche; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother; and her husband in March of 2017.
