HURON — Douglas D. Pullman, 67, of Huron, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at Prairie View Healthcare Center in Woonsocket.
A memorial service will be from 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron with burial at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota at a later date. Visitation with the family present will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Douglas Dale Pullman was born on May 8, 1951, in Huron to Ruben and Darlene (Kleindl) Pullman, where he grew up and attended school. He was in the Army and served during the Vietnam War where he received his GED. He also worked construction and as a bee keeper for Jim Griffith.
He is survived by his parents; children, Markus (Cara Davies) Pullman of Watertown; and Lisa Hoffman of De Smet; seven grandchildren; brother, Wayne Pullman of Huron; sisters, Carol Tschetter; Jean (Gary Heath) Pullman; May (Tom) McMillan of Garden City; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandparents and aunts and uncles.
