ASHTON — Erika (Szuggar) Igo, 78, of Ashton, passed away of natural causes on Sunday, March 22, 2020, at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, a private family service will be held with a public memorial service at a later date.
Erika Szuggar was born December 30, 1941, in Butow, Germany to Albert and Veronica Szuggar.
On June 17, 1962, she married Mike Igo in Ashton.
She is survived by her husband, Mike of Ashton; two children, Diedre (Billy) LaFond and Michael (Monica) Igo, both of Texas; three grandchildren; sisters, Astrid (Dennis) Mayek of Wisconsin, and Loretta (Tom) Copeland of Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Ann Lunken, Albert Suggar, Wally Suggar, and Harley Suggar.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hyke Funeral Home of Redfield.
