HURON — Genevieve D. Hofhenke, 90, of Huron, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Riverview United Methodist Church. Visitation, with family present will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Welter Funeral Home; or one hour prior to the service. Her funeral service will be livestreamed at https://www.riverview-virgilumc.org/
Genevieve Delores Brandt was born Feb. 15, 1931, to Carl and Luella Edna (Ulrich) Brandt.
She married Willis Hofhenke on April 15, 1951.
She is survived by her children, Francis (Geraldine) Hofhenke, Diane (Dennis) Johnson, Becky Bryant, Doug (Karla) Hofhenke, Kerry Hofhenke, and DeDe Hofhenke; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and three sisters, Verna (Arlin) Angerhofer, Clarice (Ray) Krippner and Alice (Lynn) Walter.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, LeRoy; and great-granddaughter, Leanne.
