Hitchcock-Tulare FFA team earns recognition

TULARE — The Hitchcock-Tulare FFA chapter attended the annual Central Region Land and Range competition in Wessington-Springs. The Land Team placed first out of 17 teams, which qualifies them for National Land Contest in Oklahoma City in May.
Leading the team was first place individual Caden Bottum, followed by second place individual Jedidiah Waldner, and third place individual Andy Brooker. All three received a gold rating. The fourth member of the team, Kyle Hamilton, was 16th place individual and received a silver rating.
Others that also placed were Mason Bottum, 21st, Danielle Nowell, 25th, and Elliott Hartford, 29th, all three silver rating.
The Hitchcock-Tulare FFA Range Team placed second out of seven teams.
Individually placing and receiving a gold rating in the Range division were Titus Waldner, first, and Bailey Binger, fourth. Receiving bronze ratings were Ashley Masat, 15th; Ashley Godfrey, 17th; and Wyatt Brooker, 18th.
