The Huron Middle School’s annual spelling bee was held Monday. Six finalists from each grade in the middle school competed in the bee, which lasted 13 rounds. Winners are, from left, seventh-grader Mason Davis, first; seventh-grader Noah Beck, second; eighth-grader Nick Freeman, third; and eighth-grader Steven DeGeest, fourth. Davis, Beck and Freeman will advance to the regional bee in Mitchell in January.
