HURON — Horizon Health Care announced Wednesday that James Valley Community Health Center will be closed for patient appointments through March 31. An employee has tested positive for the Coronavirus, while exhibiting very mild symptoms. An additional employee test has come back negative, as the company awaits other pending test results.
“We have taken the proactive step to allow employees to self-quarantine for the time-being,” says John Mengenhausen, Horizon Health Care Chief Executive Officer. “
James Valley CHC staff are following the recommended 14-day self-quarantine, as advised by the South Dakota Department of Health for any potential exposure.
