SIBLEY, Iowa — Kelly Monier, 65, of Sibley, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, after battling Pancreatic Cancer.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 21, at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Sibley, Iowa. A rosary and vigil service will be 5:30 p.m. Sunday with visitation following until 8 p.m. at the church.
Kelly Andrew Monier was born January 23, 1953 in Sibley, Iowa to Jerome “Curly” and Phyllis Ann (Baldwin) Monier. He graduated from Sibley High School in 1971. He worked with his father at the Arctic Cat Dealership and competitively raced snowmobiles until 1981.  
He was united in marriage to Lori Ann Kellen September 9, 1978. They made their home on the family farm where Kelly grew up. He worked along with his dad, running and operating the Pioneer Business and small engine repair shop in Sibley. He took over the family business after his father retired. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Farm Bureau, Sibley Kiwanis and the National Rifleman’s Association.
He is survived by his wife, Lori; children, Sarah (Tracy) Renner of Huron, Jeffery Monier, and Cole Monier both of Sibley, Iowa; grandchildren, Hunter, Ethan, Matthew and Michael, Trystan, Ella Rose, and Tucker; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
