HURON — Kristi Husman, 46, of Huron, formerly of Madison, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Huron Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 17, at the United Methodist Church in Madison. Burial will be at a later date in Graceland Cemetery in Madison. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
Kristi Renee Husman was born October 18, 1971, in Madison to Dennis and Cheryl (Olson) Husman. She was baptized at the United Methodist Church in Madison. She attended special education classes at Madison schools and then Black Hills special services before moving to Huron where she lived at Center of Independence and held various jobs. Kristi loved to do puzzles, take walks, go outside, play cards, and especially enjoyed drinking pop.
She is survived by her parents; siblings, Brad (Jacki) Husman of Sioux Falls, and Elizabeth (Brent) Koens of Faulkton; nieces, Megan, Molly, and Mady Koens, and Zoie Husman; nephews, Zach Husman, and Marshall Koens; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and niece, Abby Husman.
