The annual Ag Appreciation Banquet hosted by the Huron Chamber and Visitors Bureau Ag Committee each year, which focuses on honoring farmers and ranchers in the Huron Area, was held on Thursday night at the Huron Event Center.
Pictured speaking above and at right is Andrew McCrea, who was featured at the event to offer guidance on the subject of excellence in regard to both individuals and business environments. McCrea showed the attendees pictures from rural areas across America, while also sharing many stories outlining his experiences of being a successful farmer and rancher from northwest Missouri. The crowd heard a variety of topics including the ups and downs of rural living, some statistics of trends from past and present economies are in some of these areas, and ideas of different ways to work toward success as a business, community, and individual person.
