OMAHA, Neb. — Marilyn Anderson, 82, of Omaha and formerly of Huron, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha.
A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 26, at Welters Funeral Home followed by a picnic reception at Memorial Park.
Marilyn Ann Schultz was born February 12, 1936, in Huron to Glenn and Dorothy (Smith) Schultz. She graduated from Huron High School and later obtained her LPN degree.
She was united in marriage to Glen Anderson May 9, 1953, and lived in the Huron area. She held many roles throughout her life, including mother, homemaker, nurse’s aide, sign language interpreter, and LPN.
Upon retirement she moved to Omaha to enjoy her retirement years with family.
She is survived by her daughters, Tamara (Paul) Pickering, Sandra (Rod) Sammons, and Lisa (Ed) Fletcher; twelve grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Dick Hesse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen in 1988; daughters, Deborah in 2014, and Paula in 1956; son, Jon in 1963; sisters, Bev, and Donna; and her parents.
